As the train speed keeps increasing and the lines become more busy and busy, the requirement on quality and efficiency of rail inspection has become more strict. To develop a set of convenient and intelligent rail inspection scheme of has very important meaningful on promoting the benefits of rail transportation. It can greatly improve the efficiency of railway maintenance and inspection accuracy, it can also provide convenient conditions for transportation safety and smooth.To resolve the flaws of existing and similar rail measuring device, a convenient and intelligent rail inspection scheme based on research situation of rail inspection at home and international is proposed, which has high measuring accuracy and fast reaction rate.According to related standards of ministry of railways, the convenient and intelligent rail inspection scheme proposes overall performance requirements and provides the measurement solutions of mileage, gauge and superelevation. On the base of analyzing the character of the convenient and intelligent rail inspection scheme, the main components are selected including MCU, mileage sensor, gauge sensor and tilt angle sensor and lower compute data acquisition system is designed. The upper and lower computers equip with Bluetooth communication, by studying in-depth Bluetooth protocol stack, Bluetooth communication module is completed based on MCU.The upper computer software of the convenient and intelligent rail inspection scheme is an application based on Windows Mobile embedded operation system. It mainly includes PDA-side data communication module and data storage module. PDA-side data communication module's design is similar to the serial programming and data storage module is completed by using the technology of ADO.NET based on the SQL CE which is widely used as an embedded database.Finally, to resolve the problem of embedded devices'storage space and the paper provides Windows Mobile devices'data synchronization solution. SQL CE database engine supports local storage and can realize data sharing with remote SQL Server database. It can effectively implement data's transfer of mobile client application.
