Journal Resources Integrated Design And Realization

As information technology advances, the journal resource in library increase ceaselessly. The resource's traditional searching pattern not only brings about coming down searching efficiency, but also reduces the information utilization ratio. At the same time, the information island phenomena is more and more seriously because of resource's inconsistence. Fall in this condition, resource integration is especially important and urgent. Owing to this, the article analyse and research resource integration, and try to provide a convenient, easy to use, powerful method for reader to search journal resource in library.The paper first introduces the research background and current development of resource integration as well as basic concepts. Based on a summary of the defects of current research, the paper presents what it aims at and what it focus on.After analyzing the feasibility of journal resource integration, the paper brings forward resource integration partten, principle and frame. Thorough analysis the journal resource type and their metadata characteristic, we work out rational integration tactics for unlike resource.The paper introduces several key technologies necessary to realize journal resource integration, including data organization, OAI metadata harvesting, search agent, resource attempering, and research deeply their theory, structure, application rule, and so on.the paper detailedly discusses the train of thought, model, realization and it's effect of resource integration, include the integraion of papery journal base on library management system, application layer integration base on search agent, data layer intergration base on uniform metadata repository and correlation retrieval each other. At last, this paper sums up the research efforts, and points out the further research direction.
