The Research And Implementation Of Digital Library Retrieval Service System Based On Metadata Storage

With the rapid development of network and information technology,people’s demand for digital information has grown continually,and the digitization has gradually penetrated into all aspects of modern society.Now the digital resources is various, comprehensive, and widely distributed.So how to integrate these disorder and massive resources and provide to the general user has become urgent problems.The public library is the largest repository of information society.In recent years, the construction of digital library has been carried out all-around at home and abroad,and the collection structure and service content of libraries have started to develop digital resources.However, the digital construction of domestic library is mostly required for themselves,what has not only led to the waste of social resources,and isolated information islands one after another.Therefore, the paper commits to building a unified retrieval platform, and enabling the users’enjoying the convenience of digital information.In order to integrate diverse types of digital resources effectively.this paper has complete the following tasks:1.Analyzing and elaborating of theoretical knowledge and key technologies required for the svstem.2.Mainly elaborating the design and implementation of the unified authentication and single sign-on of multi-application systems, metadata harvesting and storage, unified resource retrieval service, according to the requirements analysis of unified user management, metadata storage and retrieval services.3.Introducing the methods of installation and deployment for each subsystem.Since the operation of the system.readers can get document resources as needed simply by entering the search terms in the unified retrieval platform.The system has met the needs of personal information of many readers.But,there are some deficiencies in practical applications, we need to refine on research constantly in the future.
