Free-form Surface 3d Laser Measurement System Design And Development

A 3D scanner is a device that analyzes a real-world object or environment to collect data on its shape and possibly its appearance (i.e. color). The collected data can then be used to construct digital, three dimensional models useful for a wide variety of applications. These devices are used extensively by the entertainment industry in the production of movies and video games. Other common applications of this technology include industrial design, reverse engineering and prototyping, computer vision and documentation of cultural artifacts.In my paper, Application and principle of the three-dimensional laser scanning machine were introduced. In addition, the scientific items are combined ,such as obtaining and using technique of 3-D information which is the Beijing learing innovation group,and the key techniques of incorporated building and representation of the city 3-D spatial information which is the national science fund item,based on above researches, The method to realize real-time free surface 3-D data acquiring scanner is put forward by using multi-thread technology and interrupt technology on windows platform.
