Research And Design Of Intelligent Building Information Management System

An intelligent building is one which provides a productive and cost-effective environment through optimization of its four basic elements structure, systems, services, and management and the interrelationship between them. The core of Intelligent Building is Intelligent Building Management System(IBMS), which can be more effective to monitor and manage the building with computer, graphics manipulation, and network technology etc. It makes sure that all of equipments in the building are effectual,cut energy,well-running and offers a safe,comfortable and convenient environment for the consumer.This thesis aims at the application of Service-Oriented Architecture(SOA) in area of IBMS.The traditional Intelligent Building Management Systems have several problem: self-enclosed system,obstinate dependence on manufacturer,high degree of coupling,weak multiplex and extend.They can be solved by using SOA, because SOA uses the open type technology such as HTTP/SOAP/WSDL to contact the services -the function unit of application program, by the well-definition between the services interface. Since the interface be defined by neutral way, it is independent of hardware platform which realizes the services particularly,operation system and program design language, and make the services in the system can communicate by standard and unified way.So the system which designed by the SOA have the relevant advantage: less dependence on manufacturer,relax coupling,wide granularity and mutual operation etc.Through the means of the design scheme adopting the SOA framework, the coupling among systems can be reduced to the maximum extent and the software reusing can be improved, therefore the system can achieve a better integration to upgrade its flexibility and expandability.It improves the performance of IBMS very much.This thesis introduces the concepts of SOA and Web Services and the relevant technologies, then puts forward a particular scheme to realize IBMS based on the service integration platform of SOA according to the design demands of IBMS, and introduces the process of servers design in IBMS. The processes for designing and implementing IBMS Project are general that they can be used for reference to similar programs.
