In this treatise, I will expound the theory of building logistics information platform via using modern information technology in logistics system. What will be laid emphasis on are realization of regional resource and information sharing, real-time tracing and controlling each segment in logistics by intelligentizing area logistics system. Meanwhile, how to develop the e-business and market for wholesale, purchasing and dispatching through the internet will also be discussed.First, I will illuminate the effects of modern information technology in the development of region logistics by analyzing its growth and implement in logistical field, focusing on typical information technology like ITS, EC, RFID, IC technology and business intelligent. I will also reason that the trend of region logistics are intelligentize, high efficiency and optimization on the basis of definite the difference of the modern logistics and the traditional one. At the same time, putting forward the concept of Intelligent Region Logistics System (IRLS), Proposed Intelligent Region Logistics platform include the Intelligent Region facility platform , the region intelligence information platform and the region intelligence policyplatform. Whereafter, I will analyze the feature and technical trait of intelligent region logistics platform.Secondly, I will work over the function of intelligent region logistics platform and design the frame of IRLS. Next, studying the process and management of IRLS according to the functions, features and structure of intelligent region logistics platform.Finally, to apply theory to practice, I will take the Chang Chiang Delta for instance and analyze IRLS's building and operation in this region. I will also, in addition, purpose constructive strategy for the modernization of logistics of Chang Chiang Delta to promote the holistic development of logistics and strengthen the competitive of Chang Chiang Delta that we can realize the strategic target of boosting Chang Chiang Delta and spurring nationwide.In general, this treatise might have practical value for conducting the informatization undertakings of region logistics, promoting the regional logistic cooperation and link development and enhancing economic performance.
