Now, there are still many problems existing in electro-hydraulic servo material test-machine, for example: (1). Change of load stiffness makes the parameters of system modal change. Hydraulic system is time-lapse and nonlinear, and the system is also easily affected by load and oil pressure. Thus, it is difficult to control machine in a perfect way using common method. (2). According to different test object and standard, there are short of effective auto manipulative program and friendly HMI. (3). There are still large errors when building physics and mathematic modals of system. (4). Big energy waste and so on. With regard to specialties of electro-hydraulic proportional material test-machine, the paper has discussed its control system in-depth.In the beginning, using industrial control compute as a core-controller, put forward a whole designing plan which contains data sample system, signal output control system, hydraulic control system, and HMI. Secondly, considering difference between inertia and spring load, build modals and analyze their dynamic and static status for the control system of position, distortion and strength. Then discuss factors which influence system's accuracy, quickness, and stability, it also put forward methods on how to deal with. Thirdly, the paper designs industrial control software system of electro-hydraulic proportional material test-machine. It is able to initialize parameters; design and save test plan; input, save, reedit and activate test object info; real-time display of mechanics parameters and curves; programming test steps; management and report print of database. At last, the paper advises that it should use PID and FUZZY method to control test-machine in different test phases, and using MATLAB to simulate the control effect on a test - machine modal.
