The library itself also be looking for the change of various modalities, in order to accommodate the need of the information society. Under this kind of situation, the researchers and employees of library start considering: What is the occupation principle of the library? What is the core value?In recent years, the scholars of the library science, library association and library community committee's etc. especially the flourishing nations of the international are all studying the core values of the library strongly, some nations also constitute some documents. They are the declaration and ego of service according to the core values.Our research about the core values of library is along with the Party putting forward to establish the system of society core values. From 2007 up to now, The research of the core values of library is becoming gradually hot. At present, the local research concerning library core values mainly is theoretic such as meaning, significance and importance etc, and there are no coincident standpoints. So, what are the library core values of our country exactly? What is the contents frame? What is the path which carries out core value? These are the blank of all existing research to consider.This thesis launches according to the logic sequence, starting from the introduction, the article inquiry into the library core values gradually about the concept, importance and reality meaning which builds up library core values, and at the foundation of domestic and international research, discover a problem, set up to design three levels composing from the function level, system design level and core value level, and on this foundation put forward to some way to carry out.
