With the development of computer technology, higher requirements have been set in peripherals interface technology. Because of its own advantages, such as: plug-and-play, transmission reliability, speed and the bus electricity and many other advantages, so, Universal Serial Bus occupies a more superior status in the computer peripheral interface, obviously. At present, standard USB interface has been applied in computers, especially a large number of personal computers and peripheral electronic equipments. USB standard has become one of the necessary interfaces.Recent years CMOS image sensor technology has been developed rapidly. Comparing with traditional CCD image sensor, the performing index of CMOS picture sensor has been close to or even beyond the traditional CCD image sensor. CMOS image sensor technology suits for the application in astronautics project extremely that based on its structural features, which lead to its stronger anti-exposure ability, the more simpler periphery electric circuit, the possibility of realization big surface picture element array. As the application of CMOS image sensor in aerospace engineering is the general trend, mastering the core technology and accumulating the necessary experience and technical reserves urgently that Based on research and developing on high-performance indicators Video CMOS image sensor system, which has a positive significance to promote meeting demand in the future field of aerospace.This paper design a Video Capture System that based on USB- data transmission Bus System, sensitive features of system applied CMOS image sensor. And the system is characteristics with fast and plug-and-play, a clear image stability, Bus power supply, the simple external circuit, refined small size, and other technical features. The design of the overall system design of the firmware, drivers, equipment configuration descriptor, upper client program design, cameras sequential design, and PCB design circuit boards are described in detail in text. Finally, through the experiment, the camera's transmission rate, CMOS image sensor of work, such as opening windows, rolling shutter and synchronous shutter are tested in detail.
