With the quickly development of modern control thesises' applications inmechanical and electroniCal controlling, excessive electromotors' corresponding controltechnology becomes more and more popular in mechanical and electronical controlling.The traditional servo mechanism cannot realizes flexible and real-time in thecircumstance of great data and complex arithmetic. Recent years, embedded technologysystem which takes application as center has developed fasfly, its characteristic isflexible, auto ans fast can be applied in real-time and multitasking instance.In this thesis, a project entitled "the application of embedded numerical controlsystem based on ARM and FPGA" is studied. Firstly, for hardware, the FPGA devices,the memory and peripheral equipments are chosen and designed, using Protel 99,QuartusⅡand other exploitation tools to complete a embedded numerical controlsystem. For software, using small practical embedded real-time operating systemμC/OS-Ⅱto supply real-time characteristic. The embedded numerical control system canmeet the requirement of the real-time and fast processing for the user, so has widerapplication foreground.The experiment result shows the numerical control system based on ARM andFPGA can is practical and in reason. Compared with the design scheme of traditionalhuman-computer interface system, the technology can reduce research task, increaseresearch speed, so can gain a numerical control system which has excellent controlcharacteristic. The adding of real-time operating systemμC/OS-Ⅱ, can get the systemcomplete excessive task well, also can assure the characteristic of real-time.
