As human rapidly access to information and knowledge-based economy, electronic space also gradually expands. Internet becomes a popular spread media. Because website operators have invested hundreds of thousands of dollars a year to run website information resources, naturally, clicking on the web site rate and the resources utilization rate problems will become increasingly important. Some urgent problems are becoming the focus of Information architecture. This paper attempts to take CNKI database system resources as a specific subject, to explore Information Architecture (IA) effect on the use of information resources. It is of positive significance to improve CNKI database IA and the utilization of information resources.Firstly, the paper combs the basic research and development of IA, and considers that the current IA research should go into the actual application phase to resolve the real problems of the site resources building. Secondly, a comprehensive system of CNKI database resources is sorted out and CNKI existing IA structure is also analyzed. On the basis of IA theory, the evaluation of CNKI database is made. In order to further analyze the efficiency of CNKI database resources and the IA effect on it in this thesis, on the precondition of the discussion of main user experience analysis methods, the experimental observation method and questionnaire are chosen based on the experimental observation to design user experience observation. At the end of the paper, the overall effectiveness of CNKI database resources and the IA effect on it are analyzed, in terms of the disposal of the statistical data of user experience experimental observation. Some significative methods and suggestions about IA improvement of CNKI database are also presented.
