As the rapid development of information technologies, Enterprises need amanagement innovation to lead the great enhancement of the competition capability in themarket. To adapt the changing, business process reengineering (BPR) is an effectivemethod to re-conceptive and re-design business process dramatically, which can improveorganizational structure, optimize the business process of enterprises and achieve theenhancement of cost,quality.,service and effiency. As a useful tool of process management,workflow management technology is one of the key technologies to support BPR. Throughthe studing of the workflow management technology Oriented BPR, the environment ofsimulateion, analysis, optimization can be provided for the re-designing business processesof enterprises, and the BPR can be managed scientifically with workflow managementsystem, so as to improve automation level of BPR implement. Therefore, the workflowmanagement technology Oriented BPR has important academic and engineeringsignificance.In this master thesis, the architecture of workflow management system Oriented BPRis proposed to meet the requirements of enterprise BPR application. Then the keytechniques to build the system, including workflow modeIing, workflow simulation andworkflow implement, are discussed in detail. Workflow modeling is the base forimplementing the workflow management. Using the theory of general stochastic Petri nets,the concept of resource, object and hierarchy are introduced to set up model of hierarchicalobject colored general stochastic Petri nets (HOCGSPN) in the thesis. As to the probIemsof workflow model, such as deadlock, trap, safeness etc, various analysis techniques arediscussed and the modeling technology of complex business processes for enterprises isstudied. According to the above-mentioned researchments, the strategy and theperformance prarmeters of the workflow simulation are studied. Combining with thereairal enterprise business simulateion analysis, workflow modeling is verified, andworkflow modeling performatiom parameters are obtained, which can provide technicalsupport for optimizing business process.Workflow implement technology is a key function of workflow management system.Through using Lotus Domino/Notes groupware and above-mentioned modeling technology,the implementing of workflow application based on Lotus Domino/Notes isstudied at length. It can be selected a technical solution for enterprises implementing BPR.
