Because of the speedy development of the computer and Internet network technology, the security issues of the communication are playing a more and more role in the domain. For the electronic commerce, because it's a special application in the communication network, which is flowing a great deal of data and information which needing protection. This protection is very necessary and important. However, hanging behind to the other precursor in safety technology makes a bottleneck for our national development of the network commerce. Because of this, this study aim at the safety, convenience and low cost to design USB cryptography key on RSA for the electronic commerce. And, it would use the technique of USB and the RSA encrypt/decrypt arithmetic to study and design, whose produce can be used to identify the identity and encrypt the data. The USB technology is one of the most extensive applied peripheral equipment, what is more, the USB technology is a pocket and "plug and play" device, which can make the application of USB more easily and popularized in the identify domain. In addition, the main work of this study topic is to study the RSA cryptography algorithmic and hardware design. We will design this item in the hardware description language-VerilogHDL and it would be on the basis of the RTL description. This disquisition would study the RSA public-key cryptography algorithm, and find a better way to carry out the basic operation, modular, in the cryptography algorithm. And, it will probe into the operation of the modular exponentiation and modular multiplication. On the basis of these, EDA software tool, Xilinx, would be used to design the HDL program, and Modelsim as a emluator and validation. In the end, the results need to be analyzed and validated.
