An electro-hydraulic proportional position control system with the same price of ordinary valve and the remarkable performance of servo valve, is one kind of the extremely future hydraulic control technology. With the development of computer technology, it obtains the widespread utilization in the industrial production and has the important status. Data acquisition technology is the precondition of computer control technology and can affects to the performance of overall system. With the development of industrial, the performance of systems control becomes higher and higher, each kind of control arithmetic and the theory obtained the thorough research This topic integrates the computer control technique, hydraulic proportional control, data acquisition technique and control theory. In this paper, using FESTO test installation which integrates the computer technology and the data acquisition technology has done the massive work.Through analyzes the discharge characteristic of 4/3-way electromagnetism proportion solenoid valve , the pressure of hydraulic cylinder, the current capacity change process and so on in the FESTO hydraulic system . Based on the hydrodynamics, the current capacity law of continuity and in the Newton second law foundation, has established the more precise system mathematical model, and analyzed the system basic characteristic. The simulation result indicated that, the system performance stable, the over modulation small, responds quickly. Has proven the system overall plan design, the mathematical model establishment and the control strategy choice accuracy. The success has completed the FESTO hydraulic pressure position system control development and the research.
