Modeling, Design And Development Of Online Teaching Evaluation System

With the development of Internet, the web instruction becomes a kind of important teaching mode increasingly. Comparing with tradition teaching, the evaluation of the web instruction is very imperfect. Most of e-learning system or virtual campus platform have no evaluating function, or have evaluating module in which the evaluating model is often simple and solidified and dead only against the requirement of itself, so they have bad maintainability and currency.Firstly, according to the current state and the mode of web-based education, the thesis develops on going assessment system .The main function basic module and the key point concerning the system have been analyzed. And at the same time, the paper gives all the answers to these questions. And we build the functional model and dataflow model with the detail requirement analysis to the work flow of teaching evaluation system. Then we take the relation data model as the model of the system, and establish the E-R diagram after the analysis and design. Moreover, we establish the database model with IDEF 1X method and select ORACLE as the background database. Then we expound its merit and why it is suitable for our system from the characteristic of the architecture of database. In the process of web development, we use a popular technology -- JSP, and the JSP pages are connected to ORACLE database by JDBC.
