Electric countermeasure simulation test evaluation system is a halfpracticality and high real time simulation test system which consists of manysubsystems supported by computer network and can fulfill radar counterequipments RF inject simulation test tasks. This system can simulate ground,airborne and missile borne radars to do the counter interference effect tests.The signal processor is the key part of the whole test simulation system. Itshould accomplish various signal processing tasks of many kinds of radaraccording to the requirements and fulfill the interference effect evaluationtests of many kinds of radar interference equipments cooperated with othersystems.The design idea of the traditional radar signal processor is based on thetask. The designer ascertain arithmetic flow according to the background andchoose the corresponding system structure, then divide the structure intoseveral modules to design circuits. There is some localization in this kindof method. The arithmetic upgrading is confined by the hardware platform. Itwill arouse some problems such as increasing operation, adding data memory,changing control flow. So we should establish a general platform and considerthe reconstruct and expanding of system in the process of design, accordingto the practical requirement, the signal processor in the simulation testevaluation system must be designed based on the modularization, it should beexpanded, reconstructed and has high generality. In other words, it is ageneral signal processor. Because the performance of EPGA and DSP are enhanced,it is possible to realize the general signal processor. The general signalprocessor can carry out various signal processing modes of many kinds ofradar on the same hard platform, it has good application values.New techniques are applied sufficiently in the process of design to meetthe requirements, such as using FPGA to accomplish pulse compression,,usingparallel processing technique to process countermeasure, applying RACEway torealize large data communications. The real time and generality are upgradedby applying these techniques. This paper expatiates the application of thesetechniques.
