With the rapid development of signal processing technology and micro-electronics technology, Digital Beam Forming(DBF) technique has been widely researched in modern radar and communication systems. This thesis is focused on the study of parallel DSP board. Significant results of the work include:1. A hardware implementation scheme of parallel processor based on 4 TMS320C6416T DSPs is proposed.2. Schematic circuit diagram and printed circuit board(PCB) are designed. 4 TMS320C6416T DSPs and CompactPCI bus are integrated on a standard PCB with 6U size. Some Communications Standards interfaces such as Fibre Channel, FPDP and RS-232 are designed on the board. The performance of up to 3, 2000MIPS can be achieved on the board. The design is accomplished on the platform of Allegro SPB15.5.3. Some high-speed circuit design rules are successfully applied to PCB design to achieve the high-speed performance. |
