Distributed Iptv System And Its Application In Distance Education System

IPTV is a sort of operation which makes use of Wide Band to provide mutual multimedia service for user. The main feature of IPTV is reciprocity and real-time character. With the fast development of Broad Band Internet and the progress of multimedia technology, IPTV has been focused by many manufacturer and franchisers. The progress of technology promotes the commercial course of IPTV. Now the development of video compression, network technology, distributed computing and distributed storage makes the commercialization of IPTV to be real.As a result of the rapid development of IPTV, the general structure and some pivotal technology of IPTV were analyzed and studied in the thesis. A long-distance education system was designed based on IPTV, which was indicated to be accorded with design request .The main study works in this thesis are as follows:1. The choice of IPTV video coding scheme. An important character of IPTV transmission is a large amount of information to be transmitted. So we need to transmit data of audio and video which were compressed .This thesis analyses video signal's basic character and compression technique ,and analyses the main coding standard such as MPEG-4 H.264 AVS and so on . The video code scheme was made according to the actual demand of coding technique and long-distance education system.2. The general structure and important technique of Distributed IPTV system. The structure and advantages of distributed IPTV system were introduced in the thesis, and the importance of medium distributing and delivery on IPTV system was analyzed. We compared realization means of medium distributing technologies and its application in IPTV Streaming Media network system. We also investigate IPTV system Streaming Media storage technology including the storage of content and the matter in Cache.3.The design of IPTV long-distance education system. A long-distance education network system was designed based on three stages of structure. The realization of sub-system was analyzed which includes living broadcast system ,order programming system, program management system ,central running flat ,secondary planet receiving system ,acting format transforming system, checking system, province rank running flat and so on. Finally we also analyses the safeguard measurement and terminal importing of network Broad Band.At present, IPTV technology is in the primary developing period. As a result of so much content of IPTV, correlative technology of IPTV is still investigated. Along with the incessant progress of the technology, IPTV technology will reach mature and perfect.
