With the rapid development of the Internet era,data transmission has become the most important part in network.Data transmission technology is applied in many fields,such as Android application data transmission,depending on the audio data transmission,cable TV and broadband data transmission and so on.People can use the high quality data transmission in their smart phones to watch all kinds of multimedia information,in order to enrich the amateur life.As is known to all,mobile streaming media service charges higher in CHINA,which limits the people in the absence of cable TV,broadband Internet connection,WIFI wireless Internet connection place to use mobile phones to watch as the audio programs.For this situation,put forward a kind of multi-functional video on demand system based on embedded streaming media server.The ARM board and WIFI network adapter as a stream media server,design Android mobile phone player as a client,it achieves that multiple clients in smart phones can free flow to receive local server or connected devices to push HD,ultra high definition video at the same time.This system apply to the bus,square,elevator,shopping malls,scenic spots,and other occasions.People depend Android phones on demand audio and video,so that it realizes to select free and quickly their favorite programs without the expense of their traffic.In this paper,the design of the multi-functional video on demand system includes hardware system and software system architecture.Hardware platform is composed of an external device,streaming media server,Android mobile phone client components.Software system mainly includes the build of server environment,embedded lossless compression algorithm to reduce memory access bandwidth,stream media server architecture,video on demand(VOD)system,developed Android mobile phone player APK.From the content,this paper relates to a wide level of knowledge,VOD system based on streaming media server and embedded compression module in streaming media server form the multi-function video on demand system.First,in video on demand system,hard disk,U disk,SD card,camera equipment and other external devices connected directly to the streaming media server ARM board,it is convenient external storage device of intact video and audio or video transmission equipment of the original video successfully deliver to the streaming media server.There are two Servers in Service-Terminal: Live555 streaming media server and the additional server to transfer program information.Configured multi-cast environment to meet multiple users simultaneously demand is also necessary.After the treatment of received video and audio,the Service-Terminal bases on UDP/RTSP transport protocol,combining the advantages of both,to complete the communicate connection with the client.Android mobile phone develops a new player,where appears two video on demand(VOD)interface after receiving program information.Users demand their favorite video and audio in play list random,and in monitoring list they can find appropriate recreation and leisure venues,while monitoring the list also applies to the security work of the relevant staff.Secondly,HD,Ultra HD video codec chip design,the original image and the decoded image reference frames were present in external memory,and external memory access bandwidth was a major problem in system design.The image compression technology reduced image redundancy,which decreased the storage capacity and transmission bandwidth image.To solve this problem,proposing an improved lossless image compression algorithm in the Service-Terminal.It is based on macro-block as the basic unit of predictive coding macro-block,and supported random access.First,it added hierarchical and block-level prediction adaptive choice in forecast section;then integrated into a hierarchical predicted half-length VLC coding in coding part.The experimental results show that the bandwidth is reduced by about50%,to solve the defect that user can not watch HD,ultra HD video smoothly and free.This paper innovates the integration algorithm of embedded compression,UDP/RTSP combined transport protocol mechanisms,new Android mobile phone player to VOD technology.Different users can demand all kinds of video smoothly at the same time.The system has small volume,low cost,high real-time,free flow transfer,save network bandwidth and other advantages,and realizes maximum benefits with the minimum consumption.It is worthy to extend to more scenes of life.
