HLA has become the standard system structure of distributed interactive simulations。As the abundance and development of specific field applications,it is necessary to integrate these specific applications with HLA-based simulation systems in order to use these already existed resources effectively and reduce the time and money costs of simulation system development。The HLA-based middleware technique is researched under this background。First,the paper analysis the conception of middleware and its classification。It analyzes and compares some techniques of connecting specific applications and HLA,points out the advantage of middleware。Based on it,the paper researches the key technique of HLA middleware which is Agent method。The technique uses modularization as the principle of designation,realizes the basic functions。In addition,it can be used in the research of the tool of connecting specific applications with HLA。The paper analyzes the feasibility and advantage of reconstruct STK into HLA federate。The middleware has obvious advantage compared with other methods for the problem of connecting STK and HLA。The paper is aimed for the realization of join STK into simulation as a federate,and takes the function realization of KD-STKLink as its main thread。It mainly analyzes the function and design requirement,and designs the structure modularized。The paper give the realization of the functions of KD-STKLink and the way to use it。KD-STKLink has been proved having well organized structure,comprehensive functions,steadily reliable performance and realizing the goal on the whole in practice.
