Based On The Internet, The Student Information Management System Design And Realization

In 21st century, People's life is connected with the information closely all the time, with digital of information resource, diversification of information carrier, networked of information dissemination, human beings begin to step into a brand-new era—information age. Management of students' status is one of important routines in the school. Many of management system were designed and developed based on two-tier architecture. With the rapid development of Internet, traditional two-tier architecture faces rigorous challenges, such as the heavy burden of development and the difficulty of maintenance, etc. So, we design the Management System of Students' Status to adapt the demand.We develop the management of students' status with friendly interface, advanced technology, high stabilization and safety based on Brower/Server architecture. The system manages the many affairs about students' status and intents to make use of the advanced management ideas and the characteristics such as capacious volume, strong analysis capacity and getting the information quickly. And it got rid of huge repeat operation by hand in the management of students' status and supplied diversiform statistic information speedily, exactly and conveniently. The system fully utilizes the merits of the Web and makes the resource share and work together to come true. It made the work of the management of students' status to reach modernization, standaraization and scientistific.The system use the method of software engineering and several technologies of J2EE,such as JSP,Servlet,JDBC, and make use of Oracle as a background database. Adopting J2EE, we can separate a management System to three tiers: presentation tier, business tier and database tier. Presentation tier provides the view for the browser. Business tier handles the request of client and database tier provides data for the application. This three-tier architecture can improve application's scalability, server's efficiency, and it's also convenient for development. The full backing campus net and Internet, we have realized the Students' Status information centralized management, the disperser operation and information sharing.We utilize the J2EE and Oracle to develop the management system .It has several features such as "write once, run anywhere", high security and low running cost. We use front controller to realize the navigation. We employ composite view which lowers the reduplicative code to provide views and business delegate to lower the coupling between two tiers.In this paper, we discuss complete process from requirement analysis to accomplishment of system functions, along with the techniques we used.
