Focused on the issues faced by the enterprises: the integration and exchange of exited systems, the failure of single-pointed landing and the data exchange and sharing on college digital campus systems, this thesis puts forward a project of a united platform which is based on J2EE. J2EE is the mainstream distributed application system developing platform on current market. Its advantages make it fitful for this project. This project is expected to lead to a general software development model which will be helpful for the future similar softwares'development. This thesis starts with profound discussion and expectation of this project. It clarifies the research's content and the problems needed to be solved, and assumes the possible effects of this research. Based on these, this thesis briefly introduces related techniques, for example, UML, distributed objects techniques, J2EE and XML. Then, this thesis analyzes the college information system united platform, and based on the needs, it models a business sample and system sample of it with UML modeling tool—Rational Rose, to clarify the goal of the system. In the following part, to clarify how the system works, the thesis designs the system in details. According to the classical three-layer framework, the thesis constructs the system with dividing the system logical construction into three layers: performance layer, business layer and EIS layer. Then taking performance layer and business layer as examples, the thesis discusses their design plan in details: performance layer is constructed with MVC, with Servlet technique to realize its logic, and with JSP technique to develop the dynamic page; business layer takes EJB technique development business wares, to realize its relative logic, and realizes data exchange with XML. In the next part, the thesis makes a brief introduction of a basic method on system testing, the copy of database, and system files'arrangement. In the end, the thesis points out the disadvantages of this system and expresses the expectation to the future.
