University Libraries Interviewed Decision Support System

University library is the foundation and main supporting facilities of University. Library acquisition is the most important part of library working system, the level of acquisition have direct effect on the whole collections' quality of library. High quality of collections also laid foundation for the efficiently service. For now, the library staffs who engage in the acquisition work are facing more and more problems, including the high-floating price, limited funding, poor documents' quantity, fast accelerating rate, confounded publishing and issuance system and mistakes on collection policy or work, acquisition staffs knowledge is not enough. This thesis, based on the analysis of the quality, task, collection policy and principles of university library, aim at those problems. It sets up book selection mode, according to the principle of "the democracy choose a book, concentration decision", provide the bibliography information to the university reader select, library expert' s group to carry on a worth evaluation, in the meantime according to the choose times and the whole collection circumstance, make use of choose evaluation model of the book decision to book' s evaluation. University library chooses model of the book decision, adopting the three class library collection structure, divided into the optimization book three grades, consider the book value and reader demanding foundation up, make sure six book evaluation decision main factors, (academics grade, academic level, intelligence report value, publish the relation that the quality, reader's need, and relate to collection) The power that adopts the layer analysis method to make sure six main factors be worth, the evaluation that uses to add the power and method to come to end calculation to treat to choose a book is worth separately. On this foundation, the first step research designed library acquisition decision support system. The system includes five basic function mold pieces: Reader WEB chooses book sub- system, building to hide the history data to statistics analytical sub- system and choose the book evaluation sub- system, database management sub- system, the model database End this article take library of Kunming university of Science and Technology as an example the possibility that analyzed, gave examples system to choose the book main factor, the book evaluation method, the book evaluation result... etc. This system can be used to assist acquisition staffs in work and therefore enhance the quality of acquisition.
