The aim of this project is to developed a decision support system for large and medium-sized reservoir, reservoir management to achieve scheduling automation. through studying and integrating the process of reservoir management, inducting a new generation of information technology like DM(Date Mining),Longtan Power Station Reservoir, for example.Function of the system design and development of Longtan Power Station in close connection with the flood control characteristics and the actual requirements of practical, advanced, real-time, accurate, reliable and compatible with the principle of functional practicality, methods, diversity and friendly interface and so on characteristics.Fully considered in the design of data security and reliability, and strive to structure the functional modules, modular, standardized, making the system has good compatibility and scalability.BRP technology through the introduction of the system that exists in reservoir management processes, and gives solutions to improve the operating efficiency of reservoir management; through the introduction of distributed database technology to solve the low level reservoir of information sharing, management system integration issues have not formed. The use of decision support system makes the reservoir operation, project monitoring, power generation, and automated business management; data warehouse and data mining technology enables decision support system gives a more reasonable solution as possible. The introduction of object-oriented technology, and completed the integration of various subsystems, making the system more closely coupled modules, the system's flexibility has also been enhanced.
