Real-time monitoring system of the gas in colliery is exploited in this paper, and the information of real-time gas data in each colliery is fed back to the Coal Managing Office in Fuyuan County by using the fiber network of China Telecommunications as the data transfer form. The leaders of the office can make a macroscopic readjustment and control according to the real-time data of each colliery so that the long-range and real-time monitoring management of gas in colliery is achieved.Star topology is employed in the monitoring network and industrial personal computer(IPC) is used as the center of data server. Each data acquisition site in colliery is joined with the control center of Coal Managing Office in Fuyuan County by the fiber network of China Telecommunications, and the gas data monitored are uploaded real time.Many technologies are used to the system, such as the lineate data transmission, the computer network, database, communications, autocontrol and data middleware. By these technology Colliery is joined with superior management department so that the department could acquire the safety information of presidial colliery intuitively and fleetly and real-time monitoring to great dangerous source. According to the information management department could find and obviate great accident hidden trouble and make dynamic tracking. Potent bearing of real-time data monitoring is afforded by the system for farther managing and decision-making.The system is made for the Coal Managing Office of Fuyuan County and its divisional offices to carry out the responsibility of surveillance and enhance the safety to produce and superintendence. The system is made under the leading of frame of total design project that the national security produce information system developments. It accords with the organization character of the colliery management office, the character of the region, the actual circumstance of the capital and technology and gas disaster.Finally, the scheme of monitoring system was installed and debugged in field. After several months running, it was been proved that design of scheme is advanced and the system is credible.
