Real-time monitoring system of equipment operation status by using the configuration software-Kingview as a developing platform is exploited in this paper, and the information of each monitoring point real-time is published on local area network(LAN). Monitoring information can be shared by everyone so that the network of monitoring system is achieved.The resolution scheme, which includes software and hardware for network monitoring system of equipment in colliery, is designed. By using configuration software as a developing platform and RS-485 field bus as the data transfer form, data of each monitoring site is shared on LAN.This scheme includes data acquisition of different style signal, signal modulating and insulating, data transfer, equipment operation status real-time monitoring, data managing and network monitoring. From monitoring network, star topology is employed and industrial personal computer (IPC) is used as the center of data server. Each data acquisition site is joined with IPC by RS-485 field bus, and monitoring system software is developed by using the Kingview configuration software. Finally, the scheme of monitoring system was installed and debugged in field. After several months running, it has been proved that the design of scheme is advanced and the system is credible.
