Radar Digital Intermediate Frequency (DIF) is developed for the high-techdevelopment indicators of the radar receiver, which turn the simulated signal to digitalfrequency directly, by using advanced digital signal processing technology withhigh-performance systems of the collection, This technique can gain a larger lineardynamic range and very good amplitude and quality, and improve the radar systemsoverall performance greatly.It is very useful to our work by testing the DIF ADC performance and I/Qperformance. We can confirm the DIF is fit the request which we need or not. We canalso find the main factors which make the performance worse. We can find theproblem quickly and solve the problem.Universal Serial Bus(USB)intefface is the most popular mode in hardwaredesign.it use simple and convenience and can be use for plug and play,it have powerinput without power input outside, its cable's define is very criterion. USB 2.0 standardcan sustain 480Mbps translation rate, it can fit the most application, it is the standardinterface for the most microcomputer.The analyse software is developed by using Matlab, it can analyse the data whichis gathered by the test system hardware, it can show the analyse data by picture.So, we developed a DIF test system based on USB adapter, it can analyse thefront-end ADC performance and the I/Q performance.We found the DIF test systm iseasy to use Through we actual use. It is a very important tools for the development ofthe DIF.
