As an important instrument of modern testing and measuring field, It's required that the pulse generator's amplitude. level and rising edge can be widely controllable in the application. Associated with the project undertaken by UESTC " high performance pulse generator", this thesis focuses on the designing methodology of pulse output channel of the pulse generator, introduces a realizable solution of pulse output channel whose amplitude and level are precisely controllable (rising edge is adjustable ) , and gives details of the circuit design.This thesis includes following three subjects:1 discusses some realizations of pulse output channel, Associated with the requirements of the project, the final design scheme of output channel is established and the prime principle of ECL gate technique adopted in the design is analyzed simply.2 discusses in detail the function of each sub-module of output channel, including pulse level shifting circuit ,pulse shaping circuit, pulse amplitude and level controlling circuit and edge converting circuit.3 discusses simply on the high-speed PCB design involved in the project, andgives the detailed debugging process of circuit. At the same time, main problems and their causes during the debugging are listed and analyzed, And some feasible solutions are offered as well.
