The kiln is the most important craft equipment in the cement production line, moreover, the kiln underlayer again is the key factor of the kiln production in superior quality,high produce,low depletion and safe operation. The kiln shell temperature can synthetically reflect the condition inside the kiln, therefore, the kiln shell temperature need to be scanned.The kiln shell temperature is a multi-variable function, T = f(x, y,τ,e,o)( T—the kiln shell temperature, x—the kiln shell axis coordinates, y—the kiln shell radial coordinates, τ—the running time, e—the environment temperature, o—other factors), namely, the kiln shell temperature has the distributed characteristic. And the velocity of revolving rotary kiln is incessant variational; So the kiln temperature is difficult to reflect a great deal of information inside the kiln in using single display usage of instantaneous value, we adopted the infrared measurement technique, the synchronous scanning technique, Single Chip Microcomputer and computer data analysises and image display to triumphantly develop The Microcomputer Monitoring System for the Cement Kiln Shell Temperature. This system can pass infrared measurement instrument to carry on the continuous on-line examination for the kiln shell temperature, send the data of the examination into the computer to process and analyze, and with the form of the numeral and graphics accurately rapidly intuitionisticly give much important information inside the kiln, including uniformity degree for the kiln coat,the size circle formed,the position of falling off the kiln coat or the kiln underlayer, the range of the hotspot and so on.On the basis of the analysises for the kiln running status and kiln temperature distribution inside and outside, and combined with domestic and overseas status quo for the kiln shell temperature monitoring, the significance,necessity and function demand are brought forward. On the basis of the analysises and design for kiln shell temperature infrared on-line inspecting function and principle, and the software and hardware of the autocontrol of the infrared scanner is researched, putting forward and carrying out the control system and technology of real-time track and accurate orientation; discussing many pretreatment method of temperature monitor, improving the system monitor precision and reliability. By the experiment, the precision of the system control and inspection is researched and analyzed. The result shows that the control way and technique makes the system to stably track, exactly orientate, effectively give an alarm.
