Computer Aided Quality System is an indispensable part of enterprise informatization, its applicability and popularity meets with much recognition increasingly. With driving of advanced manufacturing techniques, quality management theory and tools, CAQ System is developed for tooling, component etc. From the point of view of software technology, this thesis has done much research on the theory and related application technique of the CAQ System, in order to make it more efficient and more flexible. These research and practice enable the CAQ System to be more reusable, reconfigurable and extensible. The main contents of the thesis are as follows:1. On the basis of deeply analysis and summarization of present quality management process and problems of manufacturing enterprises, and referring to total quality management theory, this thesis clarifies system's main functions.2. By analyzing popular CAQ system architectures and combined on enterprise requirements, this thesis presents CAQ System architecture based on Component Object Model technology.3. By analyzing and comparing each design pattern, this thesis deeply discusses the component design pattern of CAQ System based on component technology, which conquer a solid foundation for design and development of the CAQ system.4. Bringing forward the component layer structure made up of base component, basic functional components and functional components from the component's change frequency point of view, this thesis establishes the CAQ System's component design, development technical system.On the basis of the research results, A CAQ prototype system based on CORBA and JAVA technology is developed.
