Research And Application Of Computer Aided To The Automobile Outline Conceptual Design

Computer aided design has been developed as a kind of technology by the 1960's, which is already widely used in industrial designs. With the rapid development of the computer technology, computer aided design is also playing an increasingly important role in industrial designs, meanwhile, it causes the technology to become a hotspot in industrial design and conceptual design or in the filed of computer.Because of the ever sharpness of the market competition, the expenditure idea has changed a lot. People no longer treat product function as the main factor of whether to buy something or not. Much attention has been paid to the attributes of creativity, outline, delightfulness as well as environment protection, which stand the important roll in competition. Facing this reality, many enterprises begin to realize the importance of product design and pay more attention to creative products. Creative design can satisfy the novel and ever-changing market demands and help to make the product more competitive effectively.In automobile industry, outline design is its life and creative design is its soul indeed. More than 10 years had passed before the advent of the computer, by the 1930's, the first batch of conceptual design product called"Dream cars","Image cars"and"Show cars"and so on, i.e. later conceptual cars, had already coming out at the motor show. Computer aided design receives so highly estimated in automobile industry that it had been early applied in the field of automobile design in the abroad, later, it entered internal automobile industry in 1990's.By far, no systematic method can direct designers to carry out creative design orderly. In fact, most of the instances are created by designers'cerebrum independently. The rise of the evolution computation provides us a new approach for conceptual creative design; therefore, it has become one of the most important techniques for computational and creative design.Much attention has been paid to the computer aided environment in the automobile outline conceptual design in this paper. So that it can provide an advantageous environment of creation, which can extend automobile outline conceptual designers, for them by studying a evolution method especially for creative design. The main work is as follows:1. Bring evolution design to the computer aided design environment in automobile outline conceptual design.Simulating the organisms'evolution method, applying genetic algorithm to the computer aided environment in automobile outline conceptual design and performing genetic operation by the codes with tree structure and point intersecting, it makes use of evolution computing to the innovative design so that it can provide a computer aided design environment for auto designers, which may inspire their design inspiration.2. Bring the software reuse idea to the computer aided design environment in automobile outline conceptual design.With the rapid development of economy and information in recent society, reducing the auto design cycle and enhancing work efficiency become the need of the times; therefore, proposing the auto outline conceptual modularization design, classifying component base into two categories, storing data in the format of xml saves great memory and previewing pictures saves amount of rebuild component time in this paper, cause existing design resource to be making use of more effectively and to be searched more quickly,3. Bring particle swarm optimizer algorithm to the computer aided design environment in auto components assembly.At the edge of conceptual design, auto assembly from bottom to top is a kind of auto-outline design virtually; moreover, facing multitudinous auto components, it'll be very difficult and low efficiency if finishing the task only by hand, so this paper make an initial exploration to auto components assembly, by borrowing the particle swarm optimizer algorithm belonging to evolution algorithm.
