Along with the rapid development of information technology and enterprise construction in informationization, it is the development direction of informationization to realize the management and share of resource by the internet, and let computers do simple work for designers. It is of importance to improve the management level and efficiency of design documents, by the research and development of Layout Coordinates Table Information System by the internet.Coordinates Information System of Layout Drawing(CISLD for brief) is developed jointly by UESTC Software System Research Institute and CISDI Engineering Co. Ltd. It based on Coordinates tables; connected all information about Coordinates tables into an organic relationship in the server; resulted that the design information are stored with continuity and consistency. This system solved the problem in design information which has a confused management and a hard search. It also carried out the information sharing of drawings and Coordinates tables, and got a high efficiency level of using design resources. Furthermore, this system could do automatic extraction of coordinates about layout drawing object and automatic generation of Coordinates tables.Innovative work of CISLD is as following: 1. The combination of AutoCAD 2004 geography database, XDATA database and SQL Sever 2000 enhance the data processing ability of CISLD. 2. The use of ActiveX and COM let the system, which are developed by using them, has good modularity, and easy to maintain and further develop. 3. The combination of B/S and C/S let designers work more efficiently.It is shown by research results that the system is stable and reliable, and greatly improve the management situation and share of documents in Layout Drawing Room, the system also is a practicable method to further realize the informanization in Layout Drawing Room.
