Sichuan Unicom Cdma1x Ev-do Network Test And The Planning And Construction

This paper discusses planes and accomplishes the cdmalx EVDO solution upgraded from present network, basing on the actual situation of cdmalx network in Chengdu, Sicuan Province.Starting from the technique path and fundamental of CDMA, comparing the technical characteristics and advantages between cdma20001x and cdma20001x EVDO. Focusing on the two advancing solutions (upgrade and overlay) of CDMA commercial network, premising Ericsson is the present equipments provider of cdmalx network, this paper plans the mixed networks of EVDO trial on the cdmalx network provided by Ericsson. Emphasizes more analysis and expatiation on the solution of overlay, based on the 1x equipments provided by Ericsson, and the overlay EVDO equipments provided by Shanghai Bell Samsung. This paper introduces the solution of overlay networks andanalyzes a solution of site collocation and antenna sharing from sites planning, frequency selection, link budget, coverage, etc. On the basis of sufficient plan and theory analysis, after the necessary optimization on the EVDO trial, the trial passed the performance and service tests according to the testing standard drew by China Unicorn HQ. Either from call processing, handoff, the wireless network performance, volume of single BTS and multi-BTS, the result shows the trial meets the requirements of China Unicom and Qualcomm on the EVDO network, which reaches the intention and target of the trial.This paper introduces an overlay network solution advanced from cdma20001x to cdma20001x EVDO from theory, plan, engineering, optimization, test, etc, and probes into the steps of the advance to 3G network in Sichuan Unicom concretely, which is expected to provide decision-making basis for the solutions choosing, 3G network construction and equipments provider selection.
