In the third generation(3G)system,the radio resources managemen(tRRM)contain more and more important function.The packet scheduling is in the radio resources management to constitute part importantly, is assurance real of or no real of the data business of various different rate, combining wireless link characteristic, throught packet scheduling algorithm to provide guarantee and optimization for raising the wireless packet data business performent.The CDMA2000 is one of the essential standards of the third generation mobile system, the EVDO is the CDMA2000–1x evolution version,packet scheduling research of the EVDO system have important realistic meaning.First the paper introduce some of correlation concept and background of wirelee packet scheduling algorithm, then discuss packet scheduling algorithm in EVDO system, analyze and compare all kinds of main scheduling algorithms currently. Especially paper simulate and analyze performance for M_LWDF(Modified Largest Wait Delay First), and bring forward some improvement for M_LWDF.As the second part of the pape, detail research of MAC protocol of EVDO AN size is presented in the paper. The paper introduce wireless air interface protocol stack and MAC layer protocol, the main part is the design of MAC layer send module and session layer, and discuss the realization process of signal system.
