A 7. 5W microwave T/R module is designed in this thesis. The thesis mainly research on scheme, high power amplifier and structure of gold wire interlinkage. The module is realized through the regime of phased array. The transmitter of T/R module consists of phase shifter, attenuator, high power amplifier, and the receiver is composed by low noise amplifier, phase shifter, attenuator. The switch between the receive and the transmit is realized through SPDTs. We choose a multi-function chip to achieve both of phase shifter and attenuator. At the same time, we design a frame to allow the module to use the same multi-function chip both at transmit and receive. So we can save some chips, and the size of whole module is reduced.We select Lange coupler as power splitter and power combiner to improve output power. We use emulational software of Ansoft to emulate the Lange coupler and achieve good result. Since we use many MMICs, there must be some methods to achieve the interlinkage between MMIC and circuit, we select the method of gold wire interlink. We use the Ansoft emulational software to model the structure of gold wire interlinkage.
