The T/R component not only enables transmission and reception of electromagnetic wave,but allows the phased array antenna to realize the synthesis of the space electromagnetic wave and control the beam's fast direction.Among all the components of the active phased array antenna,it has been widely used in many fields.The common end in the T/R components is usually connected with a microwave circulator or a microwave switch.Which has the problem of bringing insertion loss and thus deteriorate,the receiver noise coefficient and the transmission power,in particular to high power components.In addition,the isolation of the transceiver cannot be very good when the microwave circulator is connected.Such drawbacks of the T/R components are not problems for the single T or R component.It is necessary to design a central module with higher transmission power and better consistency.This study focuses on the single component that is used in the field of electronic countermeasure.Based on monolithic microwave integrated circuit(MMIC)technology,it aims to design a broadband T component.Based on the above requirements,this study first determines the research plan then completes the selection of the key devices splitter,attenuator,phase shifter and power amplifier within the principle and scheme of link budget.It simulates the circuit using the HFSS software and analyzes the simulation results.It also designs power supply PCB board using Altium Designer software to ensure the normal component works.Then,it conducts thermal analysis of structure of the T module using the ANSYS simulation software to determine the heat sink.To reduce the influence of the gold wires interconnection between the MMIC chip and the circuit wire interconnects on circuit,it uses the micro assembly technology to improve the installation accuracy of the component.It concludes with a test of main indicators of the designed T component as well as the difference analysis between the simulation results and actual test results.The results of the 28-38 GHz has not been tested,findings of this study show that the main test indicators achieve the target requirements with the link gain >31d B;single channel output power >1W;component efficiency is greater than 15% of the 20-28 GHz.The main indicators basically meet the requirements,some indicators exceed the required value.
