The application of internet in the long-distance monitoring was taken as research background and the accomplishment of experiment system in the distance was taken as research purpose in this paper. The development of related subject around the world was discussed firstly. To overcome shortcoming of data acquisition card which is high cost and easily affected by PC environment, the data collection by means of Universal Serial Bus was adopted in the experiment system. The advantages of small cubage, high speed, internal small delay and free program in Field Programmable Gate Array were made full use of. The program of scheduling control was compiled by VHSIC Hardware Description Language in order to result in hardware control-circuit by downloading the program to FPGA for scheduling control of whole system. USB interface technology was combined with LabVIEW environment subsequently. Dynamic link library was compiled by Visual C++ with which the communication with driver was realized. The collected data was showed in LabVIEW environment, which was stored and analyzed. The application-panel was published by use of web serve in-line LabVIEW, The data showed in server was transmitted to distance for browse and monitoring of clients.It was of great importance to implement communication between FPGA and PC by use of USB. Web offsets the lack of USB in transmission distance. The aim of long-distance monitoring and heightening using rate of source and low cost was achieved in the experimental system.
