The medical insurance system is an important part of social security system. To implement the relevant policy, the key is interfaces of medical insurance systems. With the rapidly growing of development of computers, more application systems have been put into use in distributed environment. There are also various solutions to application system, for example COM/DCOM, RMI/EJB, SOAP, Web Service. However, due to the specific protocols, system platform and so on, these systems are limited to exchange data in isomeric platform steadily. On the other hand, traditional C/S-structured system is weak on access speed, efficiency and maintenance because of the limitation of database access to client. B/S structure is common now, but there are many issues unsolved, such as a large number of input from clients, security on network transmission, concentrated management, etc.Taking the case of Guiyang medical insurance interface system, a validated and good-running solution is represented in this paper, which encapsulates the corresponding operation logic by Midas-based distributed data-transmission, thus accesses the distance interfaces more quickly. Though this scheme was designed for medical insurance system, the main idea and technologies in use are general for other fields, which aims to solve the problems of networking and data sharing among systems different in development languages and platforms. Now in our country, various organizations are engaging in pushing forward the informational process. One of the essential stages is integrating of all kinds of information system to provide unit decision-making statistics. The fact is that not only the new system and old one are running simultaneously, but different systems of different department exist at the same time. This makes it difficult to exchange data and integrate functions among several systems. An alternative method is redesigning and developing the whole system, or replacing with products and technologies from the same company. Then follow the large gap between the development language and platform, the heavy cost of update, and the long time necessary for the users to adapt the new system. The proposal of a new mechanism, which supports platform independent and secure data sharing between the existing system and the new one by some communication method, will facilitate the development of information system..
