The Analysis And Design Of Medical Insurance Management Information System

The social medical insurance system is an important part of social security systems and is also an important project of Chinese social insurance system. It played an important part in maintaining society stabilization and has influenced the social development deeply. Along with the establishment of the socialist market economic system, and the continuous deepening in the national enterprise reform, the original public health services and the labor insurance medical service system have not meet the development of the socialist market economic. Therefore, reforming and improving the system plays an important role in county's health as well as in economic and social development.In order to adapt our country's medical insurance reform, improve modernized level of the medical insurance system and realize scientific management, it is essential to develop a perfect medical insurance management information system (MIMIS). MIMIS not only can satisfy the social-management request of medical insurance, increase the information level, but also can increase the efficiency of management work.Along with the policy reform, medical insurance involves large numbers of personnel and insurance business. The original medical insurance system in some towns of Lin YI has not met the requirement of the medical insurance reform. On their commission, software developing research institute of Shandong Institute of Political science and Law developed a complete MIMIS. As the principal of this project, the author participated the whole developing process, was responsible for system requirement analysis and concrete design of the system construction. This paper discussed the idea using DDL technology and kit object technology for interface data exchange and transmission, which has common and extensible characteristics. On the basis of these, using C++ language and COM kit object technology, it realized data transmission between medical insurance management system and the hospital management system successfully. Simplifying the complexity of data exchange, this technology is one of the practical schemes to solve medical information sharing problems. Now, this MIMIS had been being used in some towns of Lin YI and running on the safe side, and realized a modernized, standardized, and scientific MIMIS.This paper discusses the developing background and current research status of medical insurance system at home and abroad, firstly. Based on the author's job of this project, the paper introduces the procedure of requirements analysis and in detail describes the design of the system. The overall design of the system, the software architecture and the realization of parts of functions modules are described in this paper. Research directions and open problems in this area are also discussed.
