| Facing the impact of globalization and complication of international crisis, journalism will fulfill an important obligation in building socialism harmonious society, and the press will help settle the conflict between the people. Therefore ,it is generally believed that journalism serves the economy, which, in turn, supports journalism. This paper studies the news enterprise of En Shi' history and present, and tries to give out the function about the mass communication in the economy' development of En Shi.The main body of this paper includes 2 parts as following:1. This part probes into the relations between news media and economy, and confirms the economy has multide effects upon news media. The economy is the condition for the journalism because economy restrict the audience resource, the advertisement market, and others. Those factors make up of the news media' entironment.
