Digital Radar receiver is the rapid development technology of recent years. Along with the development of ultra high speed digital circuit ,the digital level of the radar receiver grows higher and higher. Specifically, the development of high speed A/D converter, DDS technology, as well as the prevalence high speed DSP, FPGA have provided a solid hardware function for the radar receiver. Featured with small-scale, light-weight, easy-implemented, stably-performed, the digital receiver designed with FPGA and DSP has gradually replaced the traditional analogue one. Our research has critical importance both theoretically and applicably.This paper introduces the design and analysis of software radio mind based IF digital radar receiver. The goal is to design a digital receiver used in secondary surveillance radar system. The theoretic of radar digital receiver are sampling , signal orthogonal transform, multirate digital signal processing, DSP algorithm with high efficiency, etc.Firstly, introduces the related theory about monopulse secondary surveillance radar. Secondly, elaborates on the digital orthogonal demodulate models'design and implementation. At last, simulates with MATLAB to help improve the system performance and test if receiver is work correctly.
