In design of kinds of monopulse tracking radars, maximum range, high range resolution and high accuracy of angle measuring are required simultaneously, and radar needs to work within a wide band. Wideband signals are easy to mismatched in each frequency and phase point during receiving or transmintting process,namely channel mismatch; In addition, conventional radars are composed of multiple signal channels, the function of selected device of each channel will perform differently which will cause mismatch of amplitude or phase characteristics among different channels, also is often said mismatch among channels. Channel mismatch problem will severely affect the beam-forming, distance measuring of signal process and angle measuring. Therefore it is necessary to do isostatic correction among channels and in each channel.Here the channel equalization is discussed in monopulse tracking radar which is commonly used in engineering.Due to discrete and nonlinear reasons, signals has some amplitude phase error while received from high frequency to intermediate frequency,and this cause some angle measuring error. Especially angle measuring is processed with method of phase comparison,anenna is imbanlances severely and that makes huge error. So it is urgent to justfy the phase& amplitude error for us to achieve high precision.In this paper, the radar channel between multi-channel imbalances, aiming at the shortcomings of the traditional channel amplitude phase correction method, put forward a new channel isostatic correction method based on adaptive filter, and the algorithm is applied in practical engineering applications, the pair through the array of channel equalization, gradually applied to large phased array radar. Introduced by this article channel isostatic correction method based on adaptive filter, give full consideration to the actual condition of monopulse tracking radar Angle, using one of the channel as a benchmark channel, will be for the rest of the amplitude frequency response of the channel calibration in accordance with the channel. After the multi-channel receiver output sampling to correction of the amplitude and phase channel structure is relatively simple, easy to implement in engineering practice. Mainly aiming at the commonly used in engineering LFM signal is the study of adaptive correction, the correction of LFM signal has carried on the theoretical derivation, the calibration results are presented.This paper mainly discuss the achievement of channel equalization in engineer application. In this paper, device selection, algorithm application and tactical index are analysed and results tested. This paper also analyses advances between this method and traditional one. It also can be used in large digital antenna array, especially phase control radar with thousands of antenna units.
