.3 G Network Management Platform Configuration Management And Realization

With the development of the telecom industry, the management of telecom net is more and more important. However, different companies provide the current management systems of telecom net independently.This situation leads to complex communication between different equipments. It is a problem to manage the equipment provided by different provider and let these equipments run correctly and efficiently. It is imperative to put forward a management standard of telecom net and construct an open structure system. Therefore, the ITU-T has put forward a telecom net management standard TMN. The TMN model is built on the base of Open System Interface (OSI) of ISO, which offers an organized net structure to realize the exchange of information among all kinds of operation systems, between the operating system and the telecom equipment. The TMN standard set up a complete criterion on telecom net management.ZTE has designed a unified management platform for telecom net by using J2EE structure based on TMN. To make the platform expansible, transplantable and to realize high code-reusing ability, the system is composed of three layers. These layers are UEP layer CAF layer and Operation layer. The Operation layer is at the top of three layers, which is the only layer associating with the concrete operation.Configuration management is the one of the five key functions in TMN telecom management system, which works as the basic of all other functions. The subsystem of configuration management at operation layer divides into two parts. One is the client management configuration, while the other is the server management configuration. In this thesis, the unified net management platform is studied firstly, then the design and implement scheme of client and server configuration subsystems at operation layer are realized by using V5 interface protocol.
