GPON,as a advanced broad band access network technology, is a solution for breaking the bottleneck of network band of access network. And it is a better choice of broad band access network for future. While some organizations abroad has started research on this area and can surport broad band access scheme and devices, some demestic institution and company just start research and do not have corresponding solution. Under this condition, we started our research, including key technologies research of GPON and system framework research of GPON.Research was divided into three phases. First phase, the point of work was analyzing GPON standard which was issued by ITU-T organization, and collecting data about APON,EPON and GPON. Second phase, according to GPON standard and the collected data of exiting APON and EPON devices, we presented our GPON system framework. Third phase, we used Systemc language to build behavior model for our GPON system framework. In order to check the function of the modle, we designed ON-OFF data flow as system input.The framework of this paper is:1. First chapter introduces the development status of access network technology at present. The point is the introducation of PON technology, including APON,EPON and GPON, and the comparison with each other;2. Second chapter introduces GPON standard, and designing a new GPON system framework;3. Third chapter briefly introduces characteristics of SystemC language;4. Fourth chapter introduces GPON model and data source builded by SystemC language, verifies function of this model, collects correlation parameters;5.
