Logic Analyzer is one basic tool of Data Domain Measure. It is a kind of instrument with wide application in research, teaching and manufacture. Virtual instrumentation technique is developed upon both instrument technique and computer technique. This technique is considered as the future trend of instrument technology.The virtual instrument is one of computer instrument systems and it is based on the hardware of computer.The function of virtual instrument is defined and designed by consumer.The virtual instrument is with virtual panel and the testing function is implemented by software.The traditional instrument implements data analyzing,data processing and data display by hardware circuit,but the virtual instrument implements those functions by computers.Though the collection of signal is done by the actual probe,data collection board and the I/O of computer.The virtual logical analyzer is made by the technology of virtual instrument.Because the collection of signal of traditional virtual logical analyzer is depended on the hardware,the simulation of embedded system has no hardware.It wil be impossible to get the signal that is provided by the simulation of embedded system. The thesis researches and designs a new virtual logical analyzer which can be used in the environment of simulation of embedded system to collect the signal. It will be a compositive field that related to the theory of logical analyzer,virtual instrument and the simulation of embedded system.The first part of the thesis makes a brief introduction of the logical analyzer technique, which including logical analyzer's concept, main function. The thesis also introduces the virtual instrument's concept, system architecture, etc. The development of virtual instrument's application software is discussed in detail. It includes Virtual Instrument Software Architecture (VISA), and Virtual Instrument's software platforms.The thesis discusses the principle and mechanism of work of the simulation of embedded system.By comparing with the principle of traditional logical analyzer,it draw a conclusion that the virtual logical analyzer will work in synchronous way when it is used for both logical state analyzer and logical time analyzer.The thesis...
