Blind Development Of The Monitoring System Of The Vsat Network

VSAT is a hotspot in satellite communications and has been widely used in communications, finance and enterprise network. So it is very important to monitor the running course of VSAT network to provide better service for users and to improve performance and quality. We bring forward the research scheme of the monitoring system for VSAT network and especially analyze the network-controlling signal to get the real-time controlling technology. Based on these, the monitoring system controls demodulation terminal and collecting record device to acquire signal and monitor VSAT network effectively, and realizes real-time monitoring of kinds of operation signals. The main research work and achievements are as follows:Analyzing the running principle, course and requirements, we make certain the design principle of hardware and software and put forward the scheme of function modules. Especially, we analyze the signals of the VSAT system, including the network controlling signal and kinds of operation signals. We make use of serial communication to control demodulation terminials and use kinds of advanced technology such as multi-thread in Windows 98 to improve the Real-time performance.With our effort, the monitoring system is running well now and has achieved the anticipated targets.
