Research On Monitoring Technology Of VSAT Satellite Communication

Along with progressive increase in scale of VSAT communication network, modern wireless spectrum management system has shown so serious problems, such as reduced resource, serious collision, unreasonable assignment, etc. As a result, a new rigorous challenge has been put forward, that is how to protect the legal right of satellite communication subscribers and keep the regulation of satellite communication. Therefore research on monitoring signal and searching interference in VSAT satellite communication spectrum monitoring systems will play an important role.Consequently in this thesis an in-depth study has been made on VSAT satellite communication spectrum monitoring techniques. It firstly detailed describe the composition, network topology, network protocol, transmission standard and other technical features of VSAT satellite communication network. Then some key techniques has been solved regarding to VSAT satellite communication monitoring system such as parameter estimation for constant envelope signals, demodulation for digital signals, encoding identification, decoding and protocol analysis. And based on which, it gives general technical design of VSAT satellite communication monitoring system, and demonstrates system design and implementation. Finally, it has constructed the system simulation platform based on the software radio theory combined with the system requirement and realization technique condition, VSAT satellite communication monitoring system has been validated by the simulation experiment.
