| With the rapid development of computer software and hardware technology, embedded system has been widely used in field of Industrial control. However, on one hand the supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) which has been successfully applied in Industrial control can not directly deployed in embedded system. On the other hand, the embedded system applied in Industrial control domain need a kind of software which can provide the function like SCADA. So it's a compelling trend to combine the embedded system and SCADA. It's in urgent need of the research in embedded SCADA.This thesis, starts with the introduction of the hardware and software platform of embedded system, and analyses the function, architecture and data flow of the embedded SCADA later on. Further more discusses the design of the major components of embedded configuration software. Based on the result of analysis, a model of embedded SCADA on ARM platform, which includes development environment and run-time environment, is provided. In run-time environment, we design and realize the five functional modules, including data receiving module, LCD display module, network communication module, USB communication module and sound playing module. The design of these modules is based on the project of elevator multimedia.At last, we accomplish several products including elevator multifunction LCD with the configuration software we designed above. The success of these application instances make plain that the system we designed confirms with the requirement of the embedded configuration software. These instances also embody the convenience and flexibility throughly. The system outstand the feature of real-time multitasking very well, and meets necessity of reducibility on software and hardware.Elevator multifunction LCD based on our system is exhibited in China World Elevator & Escalator Expo'06, and procures favorable review.
