However, as the development of the software technology, the new method to develop the software system was put forward to. The new method is called Service-Oriented. As one of future generation software development ideas, SOA (Service-Oriented Architecture) has product profound influence to modern software development patterns. Through SOA framework, enterprises can reduce the coupling between systems in most extend and enhance the reuse of software.The loose coupling inherent in SOA makes it a natural choice for many enterprise applications. Now, service is a most excellence technology, and with the arrival of .NET, we can utilize smart client technology while building and deploying the application now. While smart clients provide the benefits of a rich client model with thin client manageability, they also provide much more flexibility than the traditional rich client applications.This paper has carried on certain research and exposition to ideas of SOA, and analyzes Web Service and smart client technology firstly. And then, according to the problems and business requirements in building the architecture of enterprise system recently, by using Web Service, smart client through service-oriented architecture, we design the multi-layer structure enterprise sale information management system.
