With the development and prosperity of Internet Application Technology, software architecture changed from C/S to B/S. However, B/S model can't solve all the problems of Client applications. People find that A simple browser pages can not meet the new needs, Fast and rich user experience with Off-line processing capability will be paid more and more attention by enterprises and consumers. So Smart Client came into being.Since the emergence of Web services technology and .Net strategy, Service-Oriented Smart Client gradually come to be known. It allows client application procedures interact with the remote server through Web Service. It combines friendly user experience properties of thick client with Easily deployed and managed properties of thin client. It is able to provide users with more efficient and rich applications. However, the structure of Service-Oriented Smart Client is complex, and is hard and expensive to develop. With this situation, this thesis is intended to give out a SOSCDF (Service-Oriented Smart Client Development Framework). First, this thesis analyzes Smart Client and Web Service technology, and Focus on the strategies and technologies of Service-Oriented Smart Client. On this basis, the objectives and the overall design of SOSCDF system are given out. Based on the modular design concept and service oriented ideology, the article explains detailedly the design and implementation of SOSCDF. It consists of client framework, supporting subsystem and public services. The development framework not only provides a basic Smart Client solution, but also provides standardized interface and support functions for Secondary Development. Finally, the article analyzes system performance and security, and gives the application of SOSCDF in Tianjin Traffic project.
